Since I was five I had an interest in art. I was amazed that drawings and paintings could be sold and an artist could make money by selling their work. I would work all day with paints and crayons creating images that I would sell to the neighborhood door to door.
At ten I was taking classes in oil painting. My grandmother who was a well known and respected artist would always tell me to slow down take my time but I didn't have the patience to wait and would work hours on end to finish. Then I discovered photography the perfect medium for the impatient artist.
I am a graduate of University of New Haven and McIntosh College. My majors were in English and Photography. I work for several newspapers and several clients such as Trade Magazines, Taste of New Hampshire, Plymouth State University, McIntosh College, DayDream Calendar and the Atlantic Culinary Arts.
I am currently a freelancing photojournalist with work being published in regional papers, magazines and commercial work. I had previously tried to handle printing my work for customers but with time constraints I needed to let someone else handle the sales and printing. That is why I chose SmugMug.
